Box Turtle Serving Platter

Box Turtle Serving Platter is a sculptural serving piece inspired by the quiet beauty and enduring presence of the eastern box turtle, translated into hand-built ceramic form. Designed as both a conversation piece and a functional serving vessel, this platter brings an element of pleasant surprise to gatherings—transforming the table into a place of storytelling, curiosity, and delight. Finished in Cacao and Goldenrod shino glazes upon red clay imported from Spain, each turtle platter is individually hand-built and entirely unique in pattern and form. Dimensions vary as each piece is built by hand.
