Mid 20th-Century Relief Carved Wooden Potted Daisies Wall Art Pair

Whimsically fabulous mid 20th-century wall art depicting relief carved potted daisies mounted on grass cloth covered oval wooden plaques. The pair was handcrafted using indigenous Philippine wood, in all likelihood a combination of monkey pod and mahogany. The oval plaques were covered in grass cloth prior to mounting the relief carved potted daisies which adds visual and textural interest. A very small o-ring was inserted at the center top of each plaque for hanging convenience. Each plaque measures 13½” x 9½” x 1” H/W/D. Together the pair weighs 1 lb. 2 oz. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. Though the makers label has long since fallen off, these cuties were handcrafted in the Philippines. This duo will add a little bit of boho chic charm to any small feature or accent wall in an entryway, pass-through, guest room or kitchen.
