Organic still lifes painted on handmade deckle-edged paper. Using a muted palette and simplified forms, the work embraces texture, imperfection, and the beauty of ordinary objects. Visible brushwork, soft drips, and raw paper edges create a sense of warmth, calm, and authenticity.

These paintings begin with arrangements of bowls, fruit, vessels, and collected objects.

Working on handmade paper allows the texture and irregular edges to become part of the image itself. I am interested in quiet color relationships, simplified forms, and the beauty found in imperfect things. The paintings are less about describing objects and more about creating a feeling-something calm, organic, and deeply connected to the natural world.
